Every vehicle on the road should have a roadside emergency kit-it is absolutely important and could even save your life one day. It doesn't take long to get one made up and will come in really handy in the event that you need to use it. You may never need it, you may need it a year from now, or you may even need it tomorrow. You never know, so it is best to just be prepared.
You can put anything you want in it, but you should have a First-Aid kit, nonperishable food items, and bottled water to start. You should also have the tools to change your tire in the event that it goes flat, a tow rope and some jumper cables. You should also bring a flashlight and batteries and cell phone and charger. Don't forget flares or reflective triangles and a change of clothes, as well.
